Image Lockbox Service is a smart, efficient solution for businesses and organizations that receive check payments by mail and want to streamline receivables, improve cash flow, and reduce manual processing. Payments are collected, processed, and deposited directly into your Signature Bank account, with check and remittance images available online to support faster reconciliation and improved visibility.
How It Works
- Dedicated P.O. Box: A P.O. Box is established in your organization’s name at the main U.S. Post Office in Toledo, Ohio.
- Daily Processing: Payments are collected and processed Monday through Friday, excluding Federal holidays.
- Image Access: Check and remittance images are typically available through the lockbox portal by 2:00 PM ET the same business day.
- Custom Reporting: Various reporting options are available.
- Document Retention: Checks and remittance documents are retained for 90 days before destruction or can be returned via your pre-established UPS or FedEx account upon request.
- Implementation Timeline: Setup typically takes 30-60 days.
